Made a trip down to BEST Denki at City Square Mall to purchase the HEPA filter replacement. However, was told by the sales person that their outlet do not carry the replacement filter I am looking for.
In the end, decided to head to BEST Denki at Vivo City, being one of the larger outlet, I believe it would have the stock for my Honeywell 17000 filter. To my surprise i learned from the sales person at BEST Denki Vivo City that the filter has been out of stock since 2013 when the haze hit Singapore!
Having no where else to go, i turn online and found out that Honeywell have discontinued the original HEPA filter for model 17000. Now, we will have to get 2 of Honeywell HRF-D1 Universal HEPA filter, HRF-D1 / Filter (D) and stack them together for use in the 17000 air filter.
Found out that there is a shop in Qoo selling for SGD58.90 (including $4 for shipping). Meaning two of it will be more than SGD 100! Before I get it, i got to check from Amazon if it is available and if it ships for free to Singapore. And YES! and it is a lot cheaper! USD $21.24 at time of writing. That is only about SGD $29! Ship it in for free with a few other orders to hit USD 125.
